Flooding Affects Otter Tail Country, Surrounding Areas
We're urging our readers to stay safe and be cautious during the flooding that occurs anywhere from Fargo, ND to central Minnesota.
High waters can sneak up on you, and you could be caught in a flash flood. Water is over the road on quite a few area highways. Lakes will swell this time of year as inlets bring new water and outlets back up - another thing to be careful for.
We're hoping you can get out and help the community when you get a chance - there are always sandbags to throw and volunteers to keep fed and hydrated. Contact your local volunteer headquarters for information on flood fighting.
