Minnesota Vikings Fans: We're in Trouble.
Wow. After this afternoon's loss to the New England Patriots, the Minnesota Vikings are sitting at 2-5. This is not where we are supposed to be.
Coming into this season, we were expected to be a Super Bowl contender - now we're barely even a playoff hopeful. Between Brett Favre's injuries and off the field extracurricular activities to the addition of Randy Moss a few games into the season, things aren't working out quite right.
On the plus side, the Vikings looked great today. They played smart, tough football, but couldn't get ahead in the points column.
I'm not counting us out, and I'm certainly hoping we can make it to the playoffs, but things are rough right now for those of us who love our Minnesota football.
At least we always have a lake or two to remind us why we love this state!
