No need to seek the ocean for beautiful beaches and clean/clear water!  Minnesota’s shoreline of lakes and rivers provide more shoreline than California, Florida, and Hawaii combined!  This equals 90,000 miles!

All of Minnesota’s 87 counties contain at least one natural lake with the exception of Mower, Olmstead, Pipestone, and Rock. 

Minnesota is known as “The Land of 10,000 Lakes”.  Official count of lakes, that are more than 10 acres in size, is 11,842!
